COFFEE WITH COACH TONY: WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2019
Head Coach Tony Bentley will hold another Coffee with Coach Tony meeting on February 25th, 2018 at 12:00 noon where he will discuss in detail our plans for next season at Perfect Storm Athletics Sherwood Park. This event is open to Perfect Storm families as well as non-members who are interested in joining our program next year. Come by the gym to ask your questions and enjoy coffee and refreshments. Feel free to bring a friend! Please RSVP here.

FUNDRAISERS – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Parent Association in Edmonton conducts fundraisers through the season to the benefit of families at Perfect Storm Athletics. These initiatives are completely parent-run and depend heavily on participation from families. To make fundraisers more accessible to Sherwood Park families, we need two or three parents to volunteer to represent our community to the Parent Association in Edmonton. This commitment typically involves attending periodic meetings, helping with ticket sales, sorting fundraising merchandise, and helping at events. If you are interested in helping with these initiatives to make fundraisers more accessible to Sherwood Park families, please contact Katy Illner at momof3illners@gmail.com or speak with Tony Bentley.

PREP UNIFORM SIZERS
Sizers have arrived for prep athletes and will be at the gym until Monday February 5. Please come to the gym between now and then to size for new uniform tops. We need to submit sizes by next week to take delivery of them in time for True North on March 10.

SATURDAY TUMBLING CLASSES
If you have a child registered in a tumbling class that meets on a Saturday, you will not be charged the class fee for March. This is to compensate for the tumbling classes students miss due to competitions on weekends. If you are in a tumbling class which meets any other day of the week, you will be charged on March 1st as per our payment schedule. Note, cheer fees are not reduced for competitions and will be charged per our payment schedule.

GYM CLEANLINESS
This is a reminder that the parent viewing area is a privilege. We kindly ask are require that families make every effort to keep it clean and presentable at all times. Shoes are not to be worn upstairs. This is imperative during winter months. Children are welcome in the viewing area but please clean up after them. Our families and staff are not responsible for cleaning up juice spills and food crumbs.

PUNCH CARDS – OPEN GYM & FOOD
Punch cards are now available. We have punch cards specifically for open gym and separate cards for food items. Open Gym cards are $50 for ten open gyms (gym members only) or $50 for five open gyms (non-members). Food cards are $20 and can be used to purchase up to $20 in snacks or water bottles. Cards are held at the gym and are available for use at the front desk.
